Hey @aarondfrancis I have a humble request. Would you be willing to upgrade the hammerstonedev/fast-paginate package so it's compatible with Laravel 11? It's improved a query for a project 6-fold, would love to keep using this pkg going forward 🙏 Thanks for everything you do!

Seems like a great fit for @devongovett TBH

This project is really stretching my CSS skills. Also figuring out @vuetifyjs. Hoping this will be the next version of Podrain someday.

Looking for cookie-based sessions for your @honojs application? Introducing Hono Sessions, which is currently tested with @deno_land, @cloudflare Workers, and @bunjavascript. However, should run with any runtime Hono supports! github.com/jcs224/hono_se…

Wow, my session module for @deno_land #oakserver is in the top 5% third-party Deno modules😳crazy! I'm not the original author, this is a fork, but 90%+ of the code is re-written with the help of several great contributors. Thanks to everyone involved for helping out!

Feeling nostalgic, so I went back through some of my first websites. I wasn't considering web as a career yet, I was in school for music, and on the side making YouTube tutorials on audio software. Look at this shameless, unbridled 2011 energy...

I deleted my Facebook account over two years ago, because of some personal choices. For this site, I might not have a choice, it seems to be imploding. I put up my social media life-raft over on Mastodon. Look forward to exploring this platform further! mastodon.online/@jcs224

Two years into using Linux full-time, and despite some rough edges here and there, I've concluded it's much better than Windows, and better than macOS in many regards. The Linux desktop is catching up fast. Kudos to @system76 and @pop_os_official for a great system.

It's been over a year now since I've fully switched to Linux for all professional work. First @fedora, then switched to Pop!_OS after buying a @system76 laptop. Who knows if the "Year of the Linux Desktop" will ever arrive, but it has for me.

Maybe it's just because I'm getting older, or I'm spoiled by how many websites have a dark mode, or a combination of the two, but my current life-hack for not burning out my retinas is to turn my monitor brightness down to about 50%. I use f.lux at night but it's no longer enough

I feel I've crossed another threshold as a dev: creating an open-source lib good enough for others to invest in it (issues, PRs, etc.)😊 I believe cookie-based sessions are still the best auth method on the web, even in trendy serverless JavaScript. github.com/jcs224/oak_ses…

Starting out, I always used Sequel Pro for managing a MySQL database. Unfortunately, it's Mac-only, and only for MySQL. Now, I use Beekeeper Studio, which works with most operating systems (including Linux) and supports a ton more databases! beekeeperstudio.io

This seems rare in software these days, but I appreciate how little @Cockos #reaper has changed over the years. I don't do much with audio, but it's nice to know the interface hasn't changed from under me every time I upgrade. Evolutionary instead of revolutionary.

I've always been a fan of @vuejs, and this could just be me but I feel like Vue has been slowly gaining more momentum. More companies in my area are using it (maybe on par with @reactjs) and I'm noticing it being used in more open-source stuff. Is a shift happening? 🤔
