Finally back ashore after 28 years at the bottom of the sea - a Lego life raft from the Great Lego Spill of 1997. Collected yesterday from the crew of a fishing trawler who hauled it up in their nets some 20 miles offshore. One of 28,700 lost overboard from the Tokio Express.

Oof. Great thread and excellent insights from @HughWyeth on Games Workshop's new logo, which seems to be an attempt to distance itself from its creative origins. The old logo had nostalgia and character, but the new one seems to be channeling the 2010 Gap logo redesign.

Some thoughts on Games Workshop's rebranding from a design and business POV. They changed their logo about a year ago (i think) to this sans-serif minimalist monstrosity. It tells us a couple of things about the C-Suites attitude to the future growth of the company. (🧵1/8)
