The day is quickly approaching in the Western Church when prayer and fasting will be a first resort, not a last resort.
One of a leaders most deceptive sins is the idol of ministry. Ministry is a great gift but a cruel god. If we rejoice more in what God is doing through us rather than what God has done in us we destroy ourselves running for a finish line that doesn’t exist.
The Holy Spirit isn’t an atmospheric mist or a funny feeling. Nor is he a theological abstraction, but God’s own presence & power with us enabling us to live new life.
