Word of the day is ‘recrudescence’ (17th century): the return of something terrible after a time of reprieve.

The back garden is really going overboard with the symbols of hope this evening 🌈 Make sure you go and vote if you haven’t already done so!

Word of the day, at this point every year, has to be ‘scurryfunging’ (19th century US dialect): the frantic tidying up/attempt to achieve a semblance of order that takes place just before guests arrive.

Fab evening out at @The_Lowry to see @MaisieAdam tonight - such a lovely person who made us laugh lots 😊

Extremely proud of everyone involved. We did a great job!

We would just like to say a HUGE Thank you to the CBPTFA who made our Summer Fayre possible. And to all those who donated prizes, attended and joined in with the festivities. We are delighted to announce together with the CBPTFA we raised over ....

Great night out last night to see @MrNishKumar at @The_Lowry. Laughed lots - just what we needed after a crappy couple of weeks post-covid! Loved @kemahbob too 😁

Word of the day is ‘sparple’ (14th century): to deflect unwanted attention from one thing by making a big deal of another.

Word of the Day is one I’ve repeated often, because the time has surely come. ‘Respair’, from the 16th century, is fresh hope, and a recovery from despair.
