I was so immersed in the low carb cult that when I tried a CGM, I was convinced I'd be spiking all over the place. And I actually wasn't. Highest spike was when I was deadlifting.

This is bad advice - CGM is useful beyond just a1c changes (also, if your a1c is already low, no improvement is expected). But CGM *does* help people who have higher a1c but haven’t hit the arbitrary T2 threshold: levels.com/blog/levels-im…
If you don't have type 2 DM, please put away your CGM. Why? There is no correlation between CGM metrics and A1c in the non-diabetic population. 1/3
