The attrition has been going on from a long time but due to Corona it has quickly escalated to a different level that it now endangers the lives of the couple and the 130 dogs they take care of.
They have no staff or well wishers around to back them up in case the villagers collectively attack them. I have personally been there before and the atmosphere looming there. Conditions doesn't favour the NGO...
The situation in Askarwadi is getting worse every passing day. The couple are receiving death threats & are being stopped from carrying out any movements which are essential for the functioning of the Shelter. All such incidents are getting captured in the CCTVs installed...
