Wage growth is 5.7% with inflation at 7.5% That means the consumer is losing 1.8% out of their paycheck.
With a little patience we could make our month today. Yes we’re making more money we widen our stops. As we widen our stops must protect more profits as well. Some of us could’ve made our year this week.
This market was all over the place. We've had trades triggered in both directions. We will see the $ES that's Overbought in all timeframes, forming a Spinning Top formation made at the NEW ALL TIME HIGHS. But it needs the confirmation. My mouth is watering just thinking about it.
Today was a tough day to trade $ES. These sideways days have a way of chopping you up. Equilibrium is 4779.75-4780.75 Short if either open is below 4779.75 & goes offered below the open. Minor support is 4767-4767.25 If it goes offered below 4767 we could see some nice selling.
This is a daily chart and potential bat pattern. If the C leg completes below leg A we could see S&P move to 4320 area.

If your analysis is correct and you managed the trade once you’re in it, then it’s a good trade even if you end up getting stopped out. On the other side if a trade happens to make money and wasn’t put on for good reasons then it’s a bad trade even though it may have made money.
Was a ride of volatility today. Will have to see how the market closes and who's willing to keep positions on over the weekend.....

Possible Head and shoulders pattern on ABBV. Also gap up that hasn't been closed.
