The problem with the SQA’s methodology is it isn’t fair. You performed best ever but are more likely to be marked down if you come from a poorer community. Even if you did incredibly well. You lose out to keep overall stats consistent and because of where your from. Really?!

A persuasive case for requesting amendment of these regulations, @SP_Economy , as long as it can be done without delaying its overall progress significantly. The point about the perverse incentive for clients to stop paying, force revocation and reapply is particularly strong

Today @scotgov is laying the regulations for Funeral Expense Assistance. It will provide a one-off payment to support people on certain low income benefits or tax credits by providing a contribution towards the cost of a funeral. We look forward to delivering it in Summer 2019.
