Everyone are trying to guess what Apple will announce at #WWDC22 but y’all are forgetting that Craig leaked it all during last year’s keynote.
1/2 The iOSDevUK call for speakers has resulted in 20 great talks, but sadly we only had two submissions from women. We want to encourage a more representative set of speakers, and have saved some slots for women speakers, with conference fees, accommodation and travel covered.

This is very pragmatic advice! Things have to lock down a lot earlier than it might seem in order to get to a stable release. Every change & fix creates risk of introducing new bugs, so the bar to make more changes keeps going up. Earlier bug report = higher probability of a fix!
