This is when my empathy for trans-identifying men died. When: I got piled on for saying men in female toilets is an issue of safety/hygiene I realised activists were for intact male, often violent, criminals to be housed in female jails

You know, you can choose to turn your cheek, but you cannot choose to turn my cheek. You cannot speak for all women if a significant percent of them feel that trans women are neither women nor do they belong in female spaces.
Consent isn't transferable. Many women want and need some female safe spaces free from ALL males. Campaign for some unisex spaces or trans spaces if you wish but you cant take all female spaces.
You do not get to consent for other women and girls, the answer is NO. If you have no issue with sharing spaces with men use the men's.

This is incredibly disappointing from @JamesTCobbler who insists on peddling the false narrative that men claiming to be women are the most vulnerable prisoners in the UK prison estate. It is well established that female prisoners are most vulnerable, not trans-identifying men.
