I'm excited to share a new growth framework that @danhockenmaier and I have been developing (with help from the amazing @reforge crew) I've been finding myself coming back to this framework often when talking to founders about growth. Thread 👇 reforge.com/blog/racecar-g…
How to add SaaS revenue very fast: Avoid competitive channels like Google ads and cold emails. These 9 founders found “SaaS Gold” using 3 specific channels to add over $1b in value to their companies: A thread 👇👇
Life Time Deals are the new stocks. This is insane 🤯 Initially, the price was $49 back when I first launched it. That's a 3000% ROI on a @getheadlime account.
My theory is that you can replace your income if you give yourself 18 months to work on a product consistently. 6 months → deliver value to #,### completely for free Month 7 → run a deal for ###+ to get one free year & keep delivering value 12 months later → ###+ customers
Working on a SaaS business? Avoiding the 🐘 in the room? The P word? Pricing. This is your savior: @Patticus and @lennysan teamed up to create this step-by-step paint-by-numbers how to guide to put an end to all those pricing fears and debates. Forever. lennyrachitsky.com/p/saas-pricing…
Riches in products with focus and clarity.
A thread of 15 principles for product work (most of which I learned the hard way) 👇🏾
What’s a new startup or company you’re excited about, that you’re not an investor in?
I've spoken to around 1,000 companies over the last 6 months about their plans for remote work going forward Here are a few things I've learned [ a thread ] 💻🏠🌍
Forums are the hotbeds of people who are bothered enough with a problem to cry for help, and in most cases willing to pay good money too.
If you sit in the forums of a large SaaS business ($100mm+ ARR) you'll find loads of problems (product ideas), each worth at least $5-10k MRR with a few having much larger potential. The same goes for subreddits.
A big company can swoop in any day and create a competitor that is far more polished than your SaaS. But one thing they can’t do? Build targeted tools for specific niche.
Build hyper-niched solutions to problems people already pay for.
Don't know what to build? 1. Find a Saas product (A) that companies love. 2. Find a huge but tech-ignored industry (B) (Think trucking, farming, laundry)...stuff that everyone pays for directly or indirectly. Build a version of product (A) laser targeted for industry (B)...
