I've recently written a book explaining how to build a complete (PWA) Web app with Quart and React running on AWS. In it I've tried to explain the whole process from setting up for development to deploying via GitHub actions. 1/4

I don’t care whether GitHub Copilot is free or costs a bazillion dollars. The product in itself is unethical and a harbinger of a new era that’s gonna suck for almost everybody.

We'd like to include more links to publishers on our book pages to encourage people to buy direct from independent publishers. Can you suggest any good directories of independent publishers that we could use to find the URLs for the websites of independent publishers?

Do it manually while documenting my steps, if it happens again, use the steps to replicate, if it keeps happening, automate it. But like everything, it depends, if it's just a few commands, I turn it into an alias/script on the first step.

Are you a lazy programmer? Let’s say there’s a boring and repetitive task. You have 2 options: A) You complete that task manually and save time. B) You build a program that will automate that task for you. Most likely it will take more time in the end. Which one are you?👇

I only recently discovered @bookmooch, a book swapping service, and signed up this this morning. It looks like a neat idea and I've already got my first request to send a book to a keen reader.

When I started I knew that http are letters before a url, I knew how to google and a bit of bash and I bet I could do without knowing bash.
