9/15 New Position Income Portfolio $WU Western Union - Entry at $8.40 - Consistent dividend (yielding ~10.5%) - Huge Mgmt insider buys (over $1.5M from CEO+CFO) - P/E trading at 3x with $3 cash per share on the BS - Expecting multiple re-rate as fed lowers rates / yield chase
9/16 Update $SBET - So last week confirmed, no ATM offerings with mNAV underwater so im back in small position (via call leaps) - Paltry buyback confirmed $15M - Price action still very weak - $ETH and $BMNR retesting highs while $SBET down 20% from recent ETH all time high tap
Come next Tuesday. We shall see if $SBET really did or did not tap the ATM. One path leads to a returning bull and another will lead to a perma short every pop bear.
As we have highlighted in the past, we can confirm that we have never utilized the ATM while trading below NAV. It would of course be dilutive to do this on an ETH per share basis. We will continue to act in the best interest of our shareholders.
All outta $SBET, took the loss. Literally gave back all the gains and some. Brutal mismanagement by Cucklom and Lubin. The ATM selling under mNAV is where I draw the line. Lesson learned, don't invest in shit leadership @joechalom @ethereumJoseph.
So just going through $SBET's fillings... they are currently generating ~2.5% (annualized) in staking yield. Doesn't look like they have begun to implement re-staking at scale. 1. Avg $ETH Staking Yield = 3% 2. Avg Re-staking Yield = 4% (additive to staking) Combined Yield ~7%
$SBET practically sitting at 1x mNAV here at $20 with spot at ~4400... sitting through some pain in a max long here.
