Forgetting to add an `await` in-front of an async function call (w/o a return value) is easy to miss and can lead to horrible intermittent race-condition bugs. Any simple ts or eslint tips to guard against this?


Have you stumbled over surprising behavior with `jest.mock()` before? I think the functional API for this feature is a bad design for JavaScript with ESM. I'd much rather have a new `mock` keyword or an import path prefix like `@mocked:../thing` manuscript.blog/how-jest-mocks…
