On Instagram, Minneapolis journalist and anchor Jana Shortal of @kare11 - clearly wearing a press credentials - says she was pepper sprayed and punched in the eye by federal agents while trying to capture the aftermath of today’s fatal shooting.
I don’t understand why journalists are reporting statements from Trump’s law enforcement apparatus as fact, instead of interrogating them as likely propaganda and disinformation.
If the man dies, this is murder. There’s no possible legal rationale for backing up and firing multiple shots into a man who’s lying flat on the ground. There’s no ambiguity here. Those shots are to kill, not to stop a threat.
You can watch this agent back up, shooting repeatedly into the man as he's dying.

The more I think about it this felt like the saddest scene I've seen in a TV show. A whole culture subsumed and disappeared in 30 seconds.
