Meet the 2021-22 Team: Kay McCallum, Media & External Affairs Our fifth & final member, Kay is a PhD student in the Styler group. They enjoy going on adventures around Hamilton, and crafts like bookbinding, crochet, and fiction writing. They look forward to seeing you in-person!
Meet the 2021-22 Team: Md Ali Akbar, Treasurer Ali is a third-year PhD student in the Kruse group developing water quality sensors. Ali is originally from Bangladesh and is excited to be working with MCGSS this year. He looks forward to seeing you all at our events!
Meet the 2021-22 Team: Maryam Darestanifarahani, Secretary Maryam is a third-year PhD student in Dr. Peter Kruse's group. Maryam loves her research in CCB, meeting new friends, and hiking. She is very excited to be joining the MCGSS team this year! If you see her, please say hi!
Meet the 2021-22 Team: Laura Matchett, Vice President Laura is a PhD student in the Styler group. Laura speaks French fluently and loves cross-stitch, podcasts, books, and outdoor activities (skating, skiing, biking, hiking, kayaking...). She hopes to meet all of you soon!
