As long as the bug 'TableView doen't commit on focus lost' is not fixed I can't really say that I see a bright future for #JavaFX in general. Those in charge must realise that a UI framework must be UX friendly by default, because devs will not, in general, fix it in every app.

The deteriorating performance of @intellijidea is starting to bother me. Soon my 12-core Mac won’t cut it. Yes I have upped the memory 4 it.
Though I would extend its usage if there were some language support for Optional in #java. Long overdue.
