The best thing about the Deleuze, Guattari, and Derrida bots is that you get to see random strangers give terrible advice and talk total shit about these philosophers.

The State is killing all that’s Pretty and Good. You can’t make it up.

This account kind of has no purpose now that the Deleuze bot is gone. Ah, the good old days when I could dunk on random strangers saying dumb things about Deleuze

Thanks for this interesting thread. I personally don’t think Badiou is talking nonsense, I just think he’s kind of second rate compared to Deleuze and Guattari. I thought his book on Deleuze was pretty terrible. It’s like he’s obsessed with Deleuze, but also doesn’t get him.

1) Do Badiousians, and Badiou himself, "fake" it? do they proceed by simple verbal tokens used to signify membership in an esoteric group devoted to Maoist mysticism and to antiscientific obscurantism? Is Badiou talking nonsense?

No more “deep dives” either

Can we stop using the word “alas” please?

Scums of the Earth!! This guy has definitely read all of these theorists and definitely knows what he’s talking about!!

A picture is worth a thousand words. Even though Post modernism is not Marxism per se, all post-modernist philosophers were marxists and scums of the earth (except maybe for Emmanuel Levinas): Baudrillard, Deleuze, Derrida, Foucault, Guattari, Lyotard.

We have a definite Deleuze understander here!

Same stuff I got in undergrad in my postmodern phase of Saussure, Foucault, Benjamin, Deleuze. Everything collapses to a semantic argument as a way to shape reality. Every semantic argument is couched in ignored marxist presuppositions. They all misread Nietzsche.

My job is literally to be cranky about people not understanding Deleuze.

Looks like we have a serious Deleuze understander! (Don’t even get me started on that Derrida meme.)

A new video in which I discuss Spinoza’s rejection of free will and his affirmation of freedom of mind exemplified by Deleuze’s relation to the Oedipal, with digressions on philosophy Twitter, accelerationism, TERFs, Hegel, Schelling, Nietzsche, and Jung. youtu.be/L78Xf1fLEo0
