I think I'm ready to do the switch from @getupnext to the @readwise Reader app. I will have everything I want to read in one place 🤓
The doodles always win, this time I tried to sketch out some design ideas for a design system... O well.
This will speed up the setup of my new computer on Monday: github.com/mfredlundh/set…

It's my last day at Monto.ai today 😬 my new adventure at Länsförsäkringar starts next week.
Too many ppl seem to use Jira's breathtakingly incorrect definitions of story, epic, task—one way that using Jira distorts your process away from agility. What are they really? 1/7
Remember when I mentioned that Tabs are more accessible than Spaces? Here's more proof 👇
TIL Prettier is considering making tabs the default in 3.0. This is huge — it would make an entire set of programming languages more accessible (if you're somehow still pro-spaces, read this comment to instantly convert), and, more importantly, vindicate my personal preferences
This is a photo taken with my first smart phone (Sony Ericsson P900) in 2004. Crazy!
I have been disabled by DPD, I can't use the contact form because the form validation tells me that my postal code is invalid. Thanks @DPDCustomerCare to be so bad with customer service.
I *love* astronomy as much as I love design, so I combined both to make a CSS-only @CodePen animation of each planet's rotational speed and tilt! 🌌 🌌 🌌 Check it out: codepen.io/robdimarzo/ful… Data from @NASA #design #css #space #ux #ui #webdev
Most organisations I speak to say: we can’t deliver stuff fast enough. But when we work with their teams we cut delivery time (drastically), even though we spend more time on some activities. What’s going on? (thread) 1/7
The “whole team” or “cross functional team” means that you have every skill needed on the team. Not in every individual. It’s “a whole team” not “a group of one-person teams.”
Although not a designer, I’ve become increasingly aware of the recent homogeneity of web design. I got into the web during the golden era of Zen Garden, CSS gallery sites, and self-expression, and that’s become rare nowadays.
I actually started making web pages in college in 1996. Tidbits from that time: 1. No Array type in JS 2. CSS wasn’t a thing 3. Tables were for layout 4. Nested tables didn’t work 5. No try-catch in JS 6. No nested functions in JS 7. No devtools 8. alert() was my debugger
If you’re a designer who cares equally deeply about beautiful colors and accessibility, you may find this tool (w/ 955 accessible color combinations!) indispensable: cloudflare.design/color/ via @mrmrs_ #a11y #UI
