On this topic- I went to London and Thessaloniki this year and didn’t need my wallet anywhere. Tap tap tap and go. Came back to NY and immediately needed a physical card to pay the bill at the first restaurant I went to. No idea why that’s still consistently a thing here.

Signed up for my hometown marathon next year and convinced my brother and a couple friends (who got into running through me) to sign up too. Then got my parents to sign up for the 10k. Neither of them are runners but now they’re excited for a new challenge. What it’s all about.
