Was teaching probability to this week and got into an interesting discussion around Coronavirus . It’s estimated 1-2% of people will die from it but huge difference depending on age. If you’re under 40 the risk is much smaller.

Thanks to @robeastaway for a great workshop yesterday for all Midlothian Maths Teachers. Lots of imaginative ways of teaching maths using crisp packets, Jurassic Park and Springy Hungarian Cows.
