Have you ever imagined what it would be like to be *everywhere* at once? It's a trip . . . amzn.to/2n7u2Ua
They abolished themselves. As happened in Russia, where they were so afraid of standing up that they kept ceding their power to Putin and eventually they had no power left, and it didn’t matter what they thought.
“It is clear that Donald Trump has effectively abolished the House of Representatives." CC: @TonyRomm
They do not. They are busy watching you tube shorts, sports, and cooking shows.
I know I have an Ivy League education which is now supposed to make me ashamed. But I am really tired of trying to argue with ignoramuses who don’t know anything about anything on this hellsite. It will be a miracle if America survives this ascent of the ignorant.
There are still some people who think it can’t happen here even as it’s almost fully happened.
People still don't get it And they never will until it's too late
Good faith?! Trump!? Jeffries and other Dem leaders are like a fable of a child who is bullied by a bigger child at school who keeps beating him and taking his lunch. So he brings two lunches to school the next day and the bully beats him again and takes them both.
Jeffries: "We're headed into the meeting [with Trump] to have a good faith negotiation about landing the plane in a way that avoids a government shutdown but does not continue the Republican assault on the healthcare of the American people."
I think now would be a good time to pay Congress minimum wage and take away their health insurance and pensions. Let them see how the rest of us survive in a world they create but does not apply to them.
It’s a warning sign when a populist no longer care cares about being popular. He has power and doesn’t think he needs the people.
Trump absolutely cratering in new Quinnipiac poll: Overall approval: 38-54 Approval on economy: 39-56 Approval on trade: 39-54 On National Guard into cities: 42-55 On immigration, his "best" issue: 41-55 Trump is weak, unpopular, and failing. Treat him that way:
Back before the Internet, we thought the reason for human stupidity was the lack of information options. I’ll put it this way: That wasn’t it.
Probably for the same reason there are so many more planets in outer space now than there were before the telescope was invented
Why do you think we have so many more kids with Autism
The United States has three branches of government: 1. The guy who does whatever he wants 2. The people too scared to stop him 3. The courts he openly ignores
An underrated factor in how we got ourselves into this mess is that Americans are increasingly relying on computers and the internet instead of their own critical thinking faculties (AI is making this even worse), and as a result are uninformed and easy to manipulate.
I understand that tens of millions of Americans voted for this and most of them are just poorly informed and propagandized. But if you have an elite degree, read real newspapers, and voted for this—and let’s be clear, he said he was going to do all this—you are too stupid to live
The hardest lesson of the last couple of years was learning how incredibly, mindblowingly ignorant most Americans are. Worse still, they're fine with it.
people should care about hypocrisy but Republicans have figured out that they actually don’t, and Trumpers exploit this loophole in our public discourse every single day
The decisive test of our society in my lifetime was the 2024 election and our failure was spectacular and total. I will never again have any faith in the American electorate to do the obviously right thing.
I have to tell you when your only hope is the American people reading news, you’re in bad shape.
You’re an adult. Use punctuation.
Schumer and Jeffries arent leaders for this moment. Many Democrats arent built for this fight.
