Can synapses in the brain switch their signs between excitatory and inhibitory during learning🚦? Can they act more like weights in artificial neural networks, able to switch signs based on experience 🔃? Excited to share my thesis work in @blsabatini lab! 🧵 ⬇️ (1/13)

I feel extremely honored to receive this award from @WashUNeurology. Very thankful for all the support from @jonykipnis and @kipnislab, and excited to start my lab at @PennMedicine. I am also looking forward to visiting WashU again soon!

The entire @kipnislab is super excited that @neurobenjamin won this award. Greatly deserved. And we are all thrilled having him visit (he has just started his lab @PennMedicine) for the award lecture in April. 👏👏👏
