One of TSMC's big advantages is its ability to repurpose tools from from node to node migration. The company used to have 70%+ tool commonality in early 2010s and that improved to 85% and then to 95%. N20-N16-N10-N7-N5-N3 - each of those transitions have 95% tool commonality.
