Have had this conversation a couple times this week with some of my highschoolers and wanted to share if anyone else is going through this- You are going to struggle on the field, you’re going to struggle with certain things off the field as well.
Here in Chapel Hill, @CanesBaseball jumps on Connor Bovair for 3 runs in the first, highlighted by an RBI single by Yohandy Morales and an RBI double from Zach Levenson (pictured) - both scalded at 103 mph off the bat. Bovair labored but stranded a man at 3rd. Canes look dialed.
Zach Levenson looks really good. Takes his walks, has numerous BBE > 110 mph. Has a 90th EV at 107.3. Running < 10% zone whiff this year, < 15% in his career. Has < 20% chase. All-around good talent, 50 in RF. Doing a ton of damage this year. Pot top-50 guy.
