Totally agree with this. Story points were meant to drive focus on complexity and yet we still talk about points in terms of engineer days.

I often think of Silicon Valley culture as product building rather than company building. So much focus is around growing fast and selling. You know what's really hard/rewarding? Crafting great culture. Growing long-term. Going through market changes that require reinvention.

EC2 Fleets sound like they'll be extremely useful once they support Auto Scaling. Having a minimum provisioning of on-demand/reserved instances but scaling up using spot instances (something we've used external solutions for previously). Nice! aws.amazon.com/blogs/aws/ec2-…
