One day! Just need a greenhouse or tunnel so that I can keep them going in winter.

picked about a third of the Satsumas, really worth having as so sweet and refreshing, only a small tree in a tub, been cropping nearly forty years now, good return on original investment

Climate change research tells us the world is getting warmer. And the annual Met Office climate report says the UK is follow that trend, but did you know it’s also getting wetter and sunnier? In theory, that should be helping UK vegetable growers (for now anyway 😓 ) by…

Start your celery in the cooler temps of early spring for best results, after frosts. In about 14 weeks later, you're set for harvest. Celery is fantastic for 'pick-as-you-go' gardening, letting you enjoy fresh stalks while the plant keeps growing. #GardenGrowers #EcoFriendlyEats

Spent the past hour helping little juvenile white bream get out to sea to start their new life. Think we helped over 50 of the beautiful little fish.

Plans for this year.

Not surprised the south west has the most hedges. I reckon if you went by Volume the South Hams in Devon, on its own, would have greater volume than all the rest of the world 👍😎 Love our Devon hedges! bbc.co.uk/news/science-e…

Stopped for break on drive home and there is an amazing smell of silage. Love it! Brings back memories of growing up near a dairy farm.

These rivers have all tested +ve for thiamethoxam since 2020 (data from Env Agency). This neonicotinoid was banned in Europe in 2018, but is allowed on sugar beet crops in UK. That is its only authorised use. Yet it is turning up in rivers all over the place... Hugely concerning.

I think I have the opposite problem. I feel I have a natural talent for enjoying the garden. Just fail at doing any work on it. 😁

This mornings row on the Salcombe estuary. It was friggin cold!

First job: fixing and cleaning up the greenhouse. I need to find the window first. Hope it hasn't blown too far in the field behind.
