Correction: a look at everyday white life in middle class America. There have always been many Americas.
A thread of what everyday life used to look like in the United States of America 🇺🇸 1. Average American family in Detroit, Michigan, 1954. A house, car, and enough to support a family, all on a Ford factory worker's wages!
Y'all like eating, right? Like, breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks. The cost of food is going to skyrocket, IS ALREADY SKYROCKETING due to (waves vaguely...all this) and it is only going to get a LOT worse. Which means a lot of us are going to have to learn to grow stuff.
Every fucking word of this.
You know why these Nazis are so mad about being called Nazis? Because they thought once they won they'd have the power and the rest of us would submit and finally respect them or at least fear them. But I don't respect them or fear them, so I'm going to keep calling them Nazis.
We deserve what we get. Let the MAGAts eat the carcass of America. Perhaps collapse will come sooner and the earth will rejoice.
The world makes a lot more sense if you recognize that most people, even people who vote the same as you, are credulous hapless confused prigs who act primarily out of self-interest, no matter what ideology they spout in public to make people think they're virtuous.
“The last 8 cat 4 or cat 5 hurricanes that have made landfall have occurred in the last 8 years. The last 8 before that occurred over the course of 56 years. If that doesn’t tell you something is up, I don’t know what will.” - guy on the weather channel. We’re so fucked man
"the global use of AI could require as much fresh water in 2027 as that now used by four to six countries the size of Denmark" ..& vast amounts of energy. But guys in suits tell us tech can save the planet, so don't worry our pretty little heads about it latimes.com/environment/st…
It was only mild vomiting. Nothing to see here folks. Only hemorrhagic viral infection with no cure and anywhere from 28-88% mortality rate. Even the low end of that is really really bad.
I think I am having an out-of-body experience. “Suspected Marburg victim” vomited on the train, but it’s “mild vomiting.” If MVD makes its way to the U.S., we will never contain it—just saying. politico.eu/article/hambur…
Pro tip: don't try the "we can't support a growing immigrant population" along with the "we need to have more babies to build the economy" line of shit. Either the country can support more people or it can't. You just want those more people to be white. 🖕😂🖕
When a person who empirically lies all night can be reported, by allegedly legitimate media, as a debate winner, that entire culture has collapsed. Past tense. A society which does not value fact over lies has already collapsed, walking dead and hasn't noticed it.
Make it make sense😐
Tired, by Langston Hughes 🖤
It's hard to focus on just one thing to be nervous about. H5N1 likely coming at us in a big way, ever more SARS2, an election with likely bad outcomes and possible horrific ones, accelerating climate catastrophe, and WW3 at our front & back doors are all in play.
Me doing my exercises.. 😂
