So many good statements honoring @JoeBiden but this one nails it.
This is a genuine act of patriotism. People almost never give up power voluntarily. This is historic, unusual, unselfish, and cements the President’s legacy as someone who loves this country more than he loves power.
This may not be a popular opinion. I do not feel anyone should be anointed, no matter how accomplished they are or how much we personally like them. The only criteria that matters is who has the best strategy, path, and chance of defeating Project 2025 and the Trump/Vance agenda.
