Friends… adopting & applauding private services that should inherently be state function will harm us all eventually. Once the service/sector is captured by a company they will use it to exploit the common man for profit. Think price hike, health surveillance. Hence “dystopian”.
India is unclean because sanitation is considered as the birth occupation and responsibility of a few marginalized castes, cleanliness related work is viewed as "impure" and public hygiene is not perceived as a collective responsibility.
