a maioria gritante dos sistemas distribuídos que construímos são I/O bound. quero dizer, 80% ou mais do processamento de uma operação de negócio costuma ser basicamente acesso a rede, DB ou disco. as chances são de que os principais gargalos do seu (micro)service são I/O.
