In June we launched a new Grimebusters service, dedicated to cleaning graffiti and flyposting across Harrow. The latest figures show that since June the Grimebusters have cleaned over 6,200 square metres of graffiti and vandalism. We will keep Harrow clean!
Pleased to hear of the positive trend in reductuon of fly-tipping incidents in Harrow.
Fighting the blight of fly-tipping is a key priority of Harrow's Conservative Council. In 2023 we increased fines from £400 to £1,000 & since May 2022, we have issued over 4,000 fines for fly-tipping and waste offences. While this is progress, there's still more to be done.
We have started the process to implement Article 4 Directions on HMOs for up to 6 people, which will then require planning permission, giving the Council more control over conversions of family homes into HMOs. Currently planning permission is only required on HMOs for 7+ people.
The dynamic duo's incompetence is staggering. Labour has failed and destroyed the economy in every sense. More damage to come. 🥀
The Chancellor should stop playing games. If Reeves thinks this round of kite-flying will distract from her own disastrous choices, it won't. Markets have shown time & again that uncertainty is damaging - & uncertainty is what the Chancellor is creating on an almost daily basis.
This is what happens when you raise taxes on businesses. Labour are putting people out of work, and raising taxes on those still in work. Conservatives are the only Party with a plan to get Britain out of the mess Labour have made.
Last night, work began on resurfacing and upgrading the roads and parking spaces around Rayners Lane town centre in preparation for the new Red Route. The Red Route will crackdown on dangerous double parking and new restrictions will prevent excessive moped parking.
In 2023 we implemented our free bulky waste collection service, allowing every Harrow household to have one free bulky waste collection per year (of up to 4 items). Harrow is one of the only London boroughs to offer this free service and it has proven very popular with residents.

🚨 Save Pinner Police Station 🚨 Pinner deserves a visible and accessible police presence. The Mayor of London’s plans to close our local station would weaken community policing and make our streets less safe. savepinnerpolicestation.co.uk
3 weeks ago, we started impounding persistent PCN dodgers and illegally parked foreign vehicles. In that time, we have towed 54 vehicles and collected over £13,000 in unpaid fines and fees. We are cracking down on illegal parking.
We are passionate about celebrating Harrow’s heritage and showing pride in our country. That’s why we are installing multiple banners at dozens of locations across Harrow. These banners mark Harrow’s 60thanniversary as a London borough while promoting our nation’s flag.
Delighted to join the vibrant Diwali celebrations at @HCI_London. Honored to meet H.E. High Commissioner Mr. Vikram Doraiswami and Deputy High Commissioner Mr Kartik Pande 🪔🇮🇳🇬🇧 #Diwali2025 #UKIndiaPartnership @harrow_council
Labour just voted to block the release of the China files after the alleged China spy case collapsed on their watch. This was Labour's chance to come clean and show a backbone. Instead, they wobbled like jelly. Britain deserves the truth. Once again, Labour ran from it.
The cover up continues. Keir Starmer just made his MPs vote to block our plan to release the China files because he’s too weak to be honest with the British public. What is he trying to hide?
We’re cracking down on illegally parked vehicles with multiple outstanding parking fines. In the last 2 weeks we have impounded 36 vehicles which resulted in penalty dodgers collectively paying out £8,330 to retrieve their cars.
Labour’s Sadiq Khan promised last year to keep at least 1 Police front desk open in every London borough. But he LIED. He has recently announced the closure of Harrow and Pinner Police Stations’ front desks, which will leave Harrow without a publicly accessible front desk.
A beautiful day celebrating the Hindu New Year, visiting 12 Mandir's across Harrow and beyond for Darshan. Some highlights of the day with The Mayor of Harrow, Cllr Anjana Patel, Member of Parliament for Harrow East, Bob Blackman, Cllr colleagues & family. Nutan Varsh Abhinandan.
