Had some maaaaad shift lately. Last night 2 of my team got chased from an address with a Stihl Saw… thankfully both okay and 1 in cells #emergancybutton

Things I learned on yesterday’s ride a long; Response policing is organised chaos. Officers often have limited and confusing information and only seconds to act when arriving on scene. It is unimaginably hard at best. 🚓 #SWBCU #RideALong
An public order job with little info then became an affray, an attempted robbery, PWITS, possession of an off weap, possession of a bladed article. 3 in the cells (well two in hosp) and 6 cops off VERY late.
Little 83 year old lady broke my heart at 6am this morning. Left her house where she lives alone. She was found by the staff at the CoOp when she was “on her way to the dance” 😭I didn’t mind the late finish to have a cup of tea with Margaret #JobLikeNoOther
Well I’ve bern Q since my station move. When they told me it’s the busiest place in the force to work they weren’t lying. This probably accurately represents me nightly. Last one tonight 🙋🏼♀️ I’m sure I can find some funny stories to share.

Last shift as a ‘west’ officer tonight. 4 years covering all three stations has been great but there a new challenge ahead. As of Thursday I will be the TPS on the ‘east’ also know as the dark side and the busiest station in the force! To my west colleagues ⬇️⬇️
Swapping cuff pouch and pocket patch on PC Gs stab vest the other night. “Extreme sabotage” 😂
Final shift as TPS in my area done ✅ 2 weeks of tutoring the new Sgt starts tomorrow before a move to a different part of the county with a new team as Temp again. Big changes and big challenges ahead 👮🏼♀️
