It’s all lies. There is nothing in Prop Q that forces the City to spend the tax increase revenue on anything they are mentioning here. It’s giving the City of Austin a blank check to spend on whatever they want…. Forever

Much of this ask will go to homeless spending. Someone should do a deep dive on 1. how many homeless are actually Austinites & 2. how much the weak, soft on crime DA contributes to the issue. The word is definitely out that Austin doesn’t enforce Prop B or prosecute crime.
