#OnThisDay 1975 @BBCOne aired the pilot TV movie The Invisible Man starring David McCallum as Dr Daniel Westin, whose teleportation experiment turns him permanently invisible. The short-lived series was cancelled before he could find a cure, and NBC replaced it with Gemini Man.
