Aren’t they $20m in NIL? Improbable? there are other teams w/more $ but should be expected. Great team, great coach and rooting for them but not improbable.
Not sure why they haven’t had Malik package since last yr. Perplexing.
Why not re-sign Willis and incorporate him as an active role in the offense? Expand the playbook. Just thinking out loud lol.
Also should consider a 3-4 type package on D. Take advantage of LB depth; lack d line. Zone run blitzes; Malik package would be nice on O. Desperate times; desperate measures
I think the only thing that can save the Packers in the postseason is if Matt leans hard into the passing game. It is elite by any measure. They will need to throw a lot, create explosives and score a bunch of points to have a chance.
I agree. Many teams with more talent; less wins. No top ten picks in 10+ yrs? Haven’t hit on what we have picked; passed on players should not have. We need to draft better.

Thats why GB won’t win championship. Championship QBs make those throws; in the pocket; under pressure. Not fixed since drafted. Had 3 opportunities to tie/win vs Den: 0-3; lots missed throws. Good QB but not championship QB.
This looked worse on the broadcast feed. You can see here how the interior pressure affects Love’s ability to step and drive this throw. But his jumpy style of drop hurts him here too. @theqbschool talks about this with Love not getting set to his target
Even if the play worked, Denver would have had almost 2 quarters (possessions) to climb back. At home. Achievable in today’s NFL. Climbing back 3 scores in 1 quarter is much more difficult. Chew up clock; limit possessions; and then put in the danger.
Up 23-14 with possession isn't the best time to test Patrick Surtain with a deep pass. Just matriculate the ball down the field and try to add points while chewing up the clock. I know I'd be singing a different tune if the play worked...
Championship teams drive dagger with time consuming TD drive. Shot play is explosive but still leaves too much time (possessions) in today’s NFL. Then D back on field fast. I didn’t like it at the time for those reasons. It was Great pic.
Can't blame Matt LaFleur for this loss. Thought he called an aggressive game. Had no problem with the shot class that got Watson hurt. He was going for the throat. But did not like the plan from Jeff Hafley at all. This team is too passive against game manager QBs.
They do maximize their talent. Pack d exposed some weaknesses but did not capitalize. nix leaves pocket too early. Playoff caliber secondary will challenge them. Their RBs are just guys. Great o line.

There are 136 FBS teams. Have 12 conferences of 10-12 teams each based on geography and traditional rivalries. The major conferences can still have their conference championship game. Each winner of their respective conference makes the playoffs. Win and you're in. College…
win ur conference, you’ve earned shot at natty. Current system does that. I like it. Rankings suck. There’s 136 FBS teams. need conferences to flush field. Bama is technically #2 in SEC. ND couldn’t beat SEC 4; ACC 3. Its right. Isn’t the real issue the mega conferences?
