Oxford's traffic problem's are long-standing. They go back to 2020... 2016... 2013... 1961... 1937... We will only reduce traffic problems with a credible plan to reduce traffic, and despite lots of rhetoric, there is currently only one plan proposed.

Starmer’s new climate policy is unforgivable taxresearch.org.uk/Blog/2024/10/0… Starmer's denying the science on managing climate change. He's pursuing lousy economics, with the likelihood that most, if not all, of his new investment money will be wasted. And he's gambling with our security…

Britain is about to switch off its last coal power station. MyGridGB has been tracking coal use for 10 years now. From supplying 40% of our electricity when I started my PhD to today… it’s been quite the journey. So, bye bye King Coal. It’s time for renewables now

To think the architect of this mass economic and social destruction (M Thatcher) is still revered by large swaths of the Tory (and Labour!) party.

1979: UK was sitting on a revenue bonanza from North Sea Oil, had a National Debt of just £80bn and owned all it's utilities, transport, infrastructure & millions of social homes. 2024: UK has £2.8Tn national debt & virtually no assets. Capitalism has destroyed our kids' future
