Hi! RawGit is shutting down. Repos that served content through RawGit within the last month will continue to be served until 2019, but should migrate away as soon as possible. URLs for other repos are no longer being served. More details: rawgit.com

Yes. RawGit officially died October 1, 2019. It is currently undead. Assume that Buffy the Vampire Slayer could show up at any minute and turn it into dust without warning.

Our jsDelivr Bot is now scanning GitHub for broken @rawgit links and sending PRs with JsDelivr alternatives. Makes migration as easy as clicking the merge button 🙌

You can now request files from any GitHub branch without specifying a commit hash: cdn.jsdelivr.net/gh/jsdelivr/js… If there are no releases cdn.jsdelivr.net/gh/jsdelivr/js… serves the latest commit from master too. Our @rawgit migration tool has been updated as well: jsdelivr.com/rawgit 🎉

The secret’s out: I was hosting Google+ this whole time.

first Google+, now RawGit...what a week

RawGit is shutting down, so I made a tool that tells you which @CodePen's are using a @rawgit link/asset/library, and gives you a @jsDelivr alternative. github.com/mallendeo/cdp-…

This is why we can’t have nice things. Security researchers, you do important work, but please don’t distribute web exploits via RawGit, even for demo purposes. It makes my life difficult, gets RawGit blocked for serving malware, etc. zdnet.com/article/nasty-…

You should use jsDelivr instead of RawGit.

We don't have a pretty chart but jsDelivr error rate for GitHub requests was 0.0369% during this period, compared to exactly 0 on the previous day. Looks like our failover works well enough 😅 jsdelivr.com/network/infogr…

Looks like GitHub’s having a rough time. Here are some pretty charts to entertain you while you wait for error rates to improve.

We are investigating reports of elevated error rates.

GitHub requests have been failing intermittently over the past day or so, at times affecting up to 25% of RawGit requests. But that means 75% of requests are working fine, so I got that goin’ for me, which is nice.

Heads up: RawGit will undergo scheduled maintenance on 2018-02-26 between 18:00 and 19:00 UTC resulting in expected downtime of 15 minutes or less.
