People comparing themselves to others tend to get stuck. "Oh, if only I had their talent! If only I had their physical capacity! If only I had their skills, their instincts, their money, their amount of time, their life..." That will get you nowhere. Don't get stuck in this…


Hard work is the great unequalizer.


It's never too late to start. Even the most mind-boggling ultra-runners, running 200 miles, have started with a 1st mile, then 2, 5K, 10K, etc. Strong athletes were not born strong, fast athletes were not born fast, knowledgeable minds were not born knowledgeable. Just start.

Overcoming a failure compounds. Think for a second how much times you've failed in life. A bunch? In 2024, Roger Federer gave a speech where upon stating he had won 80% of his career matches, he declared the percentage of points he had won: 54%. In other words, he lost 46%.…
