Weekend poll. Teachers furious about the unfairness of the govt's algorithms for 'A' levels & worried about GCSE results to come. Should the government abandon it's stance, do what Scotland did & accept centre-assessed assessments (CAGs), for 2020? @GavinWilliamson

What a joke. What even are ‘valid mocks’? Children getting results won’t know if they are coming or going. Never mind the effect on schools and teacher. Shambles. #ExamResults

The DfE guidance is as expected. The fact that schools will not be reimbursed for extra costs to keep schools clean and safe is frankly appalling. Stretched budgets stretched even more. There isn’t a school I know that hasn’t incurred extra costs during this crisis.

In education, are we sometimes guilty of giving fancy names to simple things in order to make them sound a bit special?
Should have been dropped last year and definitely shouldn't count this year.
That sound you heard was not education dying, it was the sound of teachers taking a deep breath and getting ready to work even harder.

#NFF is a joke. Need more money, not a redistribution. Where some schools need extra funding they should get it but not from another school
This beggars belief!! #AutumnStatement: £200m for grammar school expansions, but no cash to help stretched budgets bit.ly/2ggV5en
