I like Ed Davey. This is an important point about foreign interference. Not just Reform being in the pockets of a billionaire but the important (and shockingly underreported fact) that the Tories were bought by Russia. Go Ed 👏🏻
Up and down the country boxing day hunts are out . . . 'trail' hunting . We know it's just a smokescreen for illegal fox hunting– we need a proper ban @UKLabour ! Add your name protectthewild.org.uk/our-campaigns/…
It's just so painfully obvious what needs to be done. Labour has got to do it. 'Brexit reset: five business leaders on how they’d like relations with the EU to change' @guardian Rejoin SM at very, very least.
It will be absolutely obvious even to a child that the UK must rejoin the EU,and do that as fast as possible , in order to repair the vast economic, social and other damage done by Brexit. Starmer & co holding on to their “red lines” now is just delusional. Do repost if you agree
🔴🔴🔴 New poll shows support for taking a fresh look at Brexit. Voters believe nearly everything has got worse as a result of Brexit, from the economy and cost of living to the NHS independent.co.uk/news/uk/politi…
Idle thought - with the dreadful news from America, do you think the EU would fast track the UK to rejoin and on similar terms we had beforehand? It’s not quite as daft or far-fetched as it might sound and would be to the benefit and security of all Europeans.
I’ve lost nearly 700 followers, if you find my content on Special Economic Zones interesting, please give me a follow, it helps get the message out there.
I’ll be keeping my account here but I’m giving Bluesky a whirl…this place has become a little hostile. Hopefully I’ll meet up with many of you there. @ roberts127.bsky.social
Yep.. one of the big claims when we left the EU was we could “ free trade” with the rest of the World…. Well, now we will see what that means. In the US case it will mean free to attract higher tariffs and so making our products expensive and uncompetitive and export way way…
This has been said so often in the last 24hrs it's become an immutable fact. A Trump presidency means we must draw closer to the EU - on trade, security, defence - yes to defend Ukraine, but also to defend our economy against a Trump trade war. @thetimes buff.ly/3AlstM7
We have to now acknowledge the truth. America is no longer a reliable security partner. Europe needs to take responsibility for its own security. And Britain needs to be part of it. inews.co.uk/opinion/britai…
"If you needed another reason for the UK to join the EU, this: Brexit was always going to fail anyway, but Trump's win makes the UK even more stranded in an increasingly toxic place. For the UK, Ukraine, European security & decency in the world, we must rejoin." @EuropeanMovemen
We have to accept that millions of Americans are misogynistic, climate change denying, racist fucking lunatics who don't give a single fuck about anything apart from the price of gas in their tanks. Having done that we need to stop caring about America and build a better Europe.
Still getting over the fact that a lunatic can stand up in front of a crowd and scream about migrants eating cats and dogs and it gets him elected. Maybe I'll never get over it.
“A top soprano has warned Britain risks losing its entire classical music industry due to post-Brexit red tape blocking UK artists from touring in the EU.” 😡 independent.co.uk/news/uk/politi…

Exclusive: The prime minister is facing calls to urgently cut the red tape blocking travelling singers and bands from touring the continent
"The economic cost of Brexit, reliably estimated at around 5% of GDP and with a total loss to government coffers by 2035 of over £300bn, is unlikely to be offset by attempting to ‘make Brexit work’ – a slogan which rather confirms that it hasn’t." westenglandbylines.co.uk/news/brexit/br…
Rachel Reeves: invest properly in our future by rejoining the SM. All else is window-dressing.

92% of people under 25, and 67% of people in the UK wish to rejoin the EU. RT if you are one.
How do Emma Barnett and Laura Kuennsberg know their listeners/ viewers are furious? It’s a form of populist arrogance..they read the screaming headlines in some papers..assume they speak for the entire electorate and elect themselves as their fantasy audience’s spokespersons.
