I too am sending out thoughts and prayers: thoughts that Congress is a bunch of cowards, and prayers that we'll finally throw the bums out of office and elect representatives with the guts to enact the sane gun laws most citizens in our country are begging to see put in place.
On May 4, 2017, all of these men gleefully celebrated passing a bill that would have taken mental health care from millions of Americans. Today, these same men blamed mental illness for gun violence.

THE RAGING HYPOCRISY OF MODERN REPUBLICANISM: "Pro-life" but shrug at mass shootings. "Anti-elites" but give tax cuts to the 1%. "Rule of law" but support child molesters. "Support troops" but attack Gold Star moms. "Christian values" but strip healthcare from the poor and sick.
