I have the sudden urge to learn everything I possibly can about cannons

“We think you might be interested in becoming a new specific type of weird little freak” and boy would they not be wrong

the audacity of the british to use a captured cannon as a bollard

Love the pic on their e-learning page, lol. Also what an amazing find, particularly as I am about to write an article on photogrammetry and they have information about that. This is perfect, thank you :D nauticalarchaeologysociety.org/elearning

It’s technically Puducherry now…

Is it not enough that it's a bollard? @WorldBollard

We're flattered that you like our ad @robmanuel and hope that you sign up for one of our cannon courses soon!

I can’t read this without hearing @jayforeman and @markcooperjones in character for Map Men

They had me at "bollard".

Omg sustainable 🌸🌸🌸

honestly, quite interested in the person who would enthusiastically point out a bollard.

Habana is full of them

Outanet's tweet image. Habana is full of them

Cannot interfere, it’s a canon event

@edtiss I fear this course would be lost on Edinburgh Council.

Now I know

kfay_'s tweet image. Now I know

The bollard is an unofficial spin-off, it's not canon.

Is this the sort of recruitment poster that got you @kejamieson_ ?

I'm gonna need these guys to teach me about cannons.

Similar to cannons used across the south and south west of India during the period when colonial powers held sway. Portuguese forts in Goa have similar weapons.

Every time I see a bollard I say "oh look, a bollard"

Is it one of the original cannons or a newer casting that was made when some cannons got damaged and needed replacements

That's some talkative masonry, too.
