The hub in Appalachia, which will extend into several West Virginia communities, is meant to take advantage of the region's enormous supplies of natural gas.

Today I’m at @NewRiverNPS to celebrate more than $3.7 BILLION in federal funding to the New River Gorge Region since the park’s redesignation in January 2021! As @EnergyDems Chairman, I worked hard to designate New River Gorge as a National Park, & this work is paying off for WV.
The State Fair of West Virginia is one of my favorite traditions where we showcase the very best of the Mountain State. It was great to see everyone come together yesterday to celebrate West Virginia’s agricultural, culinary and creative talents.
