If you’re on a phone, tap and rotate this absolute stunner of an image. Wow. Brilliant work @lensdistrict
I was also at Wastwater last night where after a spell of diffused light a bit broke through in the nick of time. A monster pano that will be up in the gallery on Friday, to get the perspective/scale this is 27(!!) frames at 170mm. Bobbins on a mobile but print should be epic
Clifton Promenade, shortly after sunrise yesterday morning, some beautiful golden light breaking through the trees along the avenue. Easily my favourite location for autumn locally - if you like crunchy leaves, this is your spot! @BBCBristol @BBCRB @ITVCharlieP
One of the images from this years “views of Wester Ross” calendar
The sky this morning was incredible - this is looking towards Kelston Roundhill (the clump of trees on a hill in the centre), above Bath. Taken, dangling out the window in Bristol @BBCBristol @ITVCharlieP @metofficeUK
King of the jungle A stag looks out from a misty Ashton Court across Bristol
It’s Day 32 of my futile one-woman crusade to keep real images popping up on your feed rather than AI. There’s something primordial about the woodland at Padley Gorge in the Peak District. Twisted trunks and thick canopies. I could spent days just looking and finding shapes.
Ancient trees, mist and golden hour in the hills above Wiltshire
A stag at Ashton Court, looking out across Bristol. Hoping for a repeat of that morning over the next few weeks
Larch Flames Dolomites, October 2024
Latest NASA global temperature data. Earth has never been hotter since Homo sapiens discovered agriculture in the early Holocene. Likely even since 120,000 years ago. Fossil coal, oil and gas emissions caused it. We need to stop making it worse. Yes, we can if we want to. 🧵
Autumn colours at Savernake Forest. A few more images from early Thursday morning in the mist
Happy Saturday! It’s Day 26 of my futile one-woman crusade to keep real images popping up on your feed rather than AI. This was a morning where I in awe of nature! Looking toward the Harris Hills at sunrise, I was treated to mist, a rainbow & a dramatic sky! Combo! #Scotland
A misty Savernake Forest, yesterday morning. It is looking absolutely spectacular there! I’ve got a bucketload of images to go through - that was the happiest my camera has been in well over a year
