Referring to loops as able to “give the right doses of insulin constantly” should be avoided imo. A lot of work still needed to get to that place. Obvs doesn’t change the fact that the benefits are vast and this family should have access. #T1D

lets hope they listen. tbh the only way out of this mess is to remove drug laws from party politics in the same way as interest rates are - we need an independent drug regulator equivalent to the Bank of England @Drug_Science

You're right there. It will continue to be relentless because it obviously isn't helping.
False premise that we don't already pick up that bill. Not to mention policing cost. Point is regulation = net benefit.
Agenda? All I'm saying is psychiatrists are the authority on issues of mental health. Not police or emergency workers.
Why would police/ambo know suicide cause? Suggest you look at psychiatric papers.
