Just amazes me that we can measure temperatures in the middle of the ocean from outer space (!) AND get the data in near real-time by hitting buttons on a tiny electronic device. We developed the technology to study the oceans just in time to see all the damage we are doing.
Wow! A thread exposing Zoom's racially biased algorithm ends up revealing Twitter’s own racially biased algorithm - incredible!

Wow, what a finish to the game, banter blitz is such a good format.
This has to be one of the most phenomenal blitz games ever played online. A crucial moment in the match, no shady Alekhine theory nonsense, lots of twists and turns, emotionally draining, and an explosive finale. bit.ly/2ymOidu
Global ocean surface temperature change (1850-2018). The colour scale covers a change of 1.3°C from dark blue to dark red.

This is an amazing visualizations by @alxrdk showing global temperatures from 1850 to today, and different pathways we might take in the future. This definitely wins the award for best warming stripes in my book!
