Not really a huge surprise. AI chat is a more explicit way to learn about your private preferences than search or likes ever were. This will soon be monetized with ads. theregister.com/2025/08/18/opi…
It's not backed by any actual evaluations yet, but I believe #Lisp might be specially suited for GenAI based code generation. Looking to verify this with some experiments of my own.
We're using LLMs wrong! They excel at language, not knowledge. Yet we treat them as oracles of truth. Result? Systems that sound authoritative but fail when reliability matters. Here's a design principle that makes AI both powerful and trustworthy: sauravdhungana.com/why-llms-shoul…
It's really interesting how the AI world is freaked out by a paper that shows these models don't actually "think" and "reason". Of course they don't, they are pattern recognition machines -- although very good ones at that. 🤷♂️ #illusionofthinking #apple #ai

I'm looking to form a small, talent-dense team of engineers focused on working at the intersection of #dataprivacy (encryption), #AI (both ML & GenAI), and #systems. This is primary for Nepal (or those willing to work on Nepalese salaries). Feel free to DM me.

If #AI is going to write most of the code going forward. Does it mean it’s also time to rethink what a #programminglanguage should look like. May be there’ll be highly optimized languages everywhere that humans don’t necessarily can read.
