Affordability is the issue. Housing, health care, child care, groceries; costs keep rising while Washington dodges the problem. Prices come down when supply goes up. That’s the fight I’m bringing to the US Senate. Thank you @ABC7Chicago for having me.
The math is simple. To win a Democratic Senate majority, we need to flip 2 of these 4 states: Iowa, Ohio, Alaska, and Texas. That only happens if we moderate the party brand and win independents and former Trump voters. That’s why I’m running for the U.S. Senate.
Democrat's 2026 Senate math is so bad when you actually stare at it on the map. They need to win every state in dark blue, every state in sky blue, and 2/4 of the "longshot" states in light grey-blue. That would be enough for a *bare* 51-49 majority.
As Herm Edwards so eloquently said, “You play to win the game”. Unless Democrats embrace winning over purity politics we will not win back power and enact a progressive agenda. To me that is unacceptable.
There is nothing wrong with America that cannot be fixed by what is right with America. And often times what is right with America, is the ingenuity of our entrepreneurs. It’s time to build more homes.

Unlike my opponents, I won’t dodge questions or mince words about Mayor Johnson. I will NOT support his reelection. He is doing a bad job as mayor and is hurting the city. Chicago deserves better leadership.

I support this policy and hope it gets implemented, but this is far from a silver bullet when it comes to housing affordability. The only real solution to lowering housing costs is by building much more housing, in the places where people want to live.
The economy is on uneven footing. GDP looks fine (boosted by data center spending), inflation is still above target, and hiring is slowing. Trump’s agenda isn’t delivering for families. Repeal the tariffs and restart the growth engine.
