The learning (and fun) never stops at SOMS! Throughout the two-week @SOMS_News Summer Enrichment program, students have been rotating between various stations which focus on math, financial literacy, gaming and strategies, art, virtual engineering and physical education.
The summer learning continues for our @WOSnews students! Designed by K-5 Instructional Literacy Coach Kristy Nadler, the WOS Summer Enrichment Program kicked off last week and features fun, educational activities, including reading and writing workshops, arts & crafts and more.

Over the last two weeks, SOCSD hosted the 8th annual Summer STEAM Camp! The two-week camp includes daily sessions featuring hands-on activities that are focused on science, technology, engineering, art and math, with lessons led by SOCSD staff & @Tappan_Zee_HS student volunteers.
During its annual reorganization meeting this morning, our Board of Education swore in new members Katie Gravino and Diana Korabel and elected Steven Finn as President and David Sansone as Vice President for the 2023-24 school year. Congratulations to all!
